Matchday Ready

From the start of the 2024 season, footballers at the É«½ç°É can look forward to an exciting new partnership with É«½ç°É City Football Club. Our university men’s and women’s first teams will be selected, managed, and coached by professionals from the club.

The club will help recruit squads through a trials day, designing and delivering first-team training and overseeing touchline decisions on matchdays of each home fixture.

The agreement builds on established links between the University and the Imps. The club employs many É«½ç°É graduate, while players and coaches benefit from access to university facilities and expertise through a variety of collaborations in teaching and research.
